Adult Day Services
Adult Day Training Services consist of supervision, training and support in general areas of self care, communication, community participation and socialization. Areas of emphasis include: therapeutic activities, fine and gross motor development, mobility, personal adjustment, use of community resources and relationship development.
Adult day Training (ADT) served 14 individuals in 2010. These individuals were supported by 5 staff. Greene Arc established a pre-vocational training area to promote the movement of individuals from day habilitation to more gainful activities.
New Art Project
Mosaics are being made from cardboard collected from the Recycling Center. These beautiful arts and crafts are made by the individuals in ADT with the supervision of Greene County Artist Kyle Hallam . Besides promoting creative activities, this project addresses envirommental and sustainability practices.
The individuals in ADT are getting hands-on experience using cardboard collected from the Greene Arc Recycling Center to create mosaics.
