Drop-In Center

    he Drop-In Center is an Activity Center operated by individuals with mental health concerns, with provider oversight. The Center offers an accepting, non-clinical atmosphere where individuals with mental health concerns can feel they belong and encourages individuals to take responsibility for their own recovery. The Drop-In Center empowers the members to take ownership of the program and all facets of its operation.

This Drop-In Center program is funded by Greene County Human Services.

The Drop-In Center is open five days a week. Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

The Drop-In Center provides support in times of turmoil and social isolation and offers opportunities to improve social skills as well as developing and maintaining healthy relationships. The Center provides many socialization opportunities.

The Drop-In Center's members are encouraged to research and select various group activities that result in education, advocacy, socialization and community service. Members are encouraged to choose a variety of activities to experience together.

The Drop-In Center is for Greene County residents, eighteen years of age and older. It is open to members who are currently in Mental Health Recovery.
